Staff = the new basement people. Address the caste system (MDs, PhDs, etc vs staff). Having very different rulebooks based on rank is wrong.
agree. we're just as skilled, valuable & our salary should matter. Cost of living doesn't cease. can Mgr, MD, PhD function w/o us?

Too many layers of higher management, their salaries and retirement. Lack of front line staff leads to loss of life, ideas and changes.
not allow recalls, hence the term retirement. if they want to continue working, then don't retire.

Growing aging population is living longer, which is drain on health #care system. Need to reallocate current resources & approaches.
learn from others such as Japan. see how others care for their elders & with respect. we'll all reach this stage, hopefully.
